Michael Wied
Technical Sales Specialist
Michael Wied was born and raised on a cotton farm south of Lubbock, Texas, and earned a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University. Before joining Streamline Ag, Michael built broad experience across the industry as a territory manager for Pioneer Seed, sales representative for NexGen Cottonseed, field representative for Indigo Ag and Texas Farm Bureau, and a relationship manager for Capital Farm Credit.
Michael’s primary crops are corn and cotton. When working through a challenge, Michael starts by asking a lot of questions to uncover the grower’s pain points and ultimate goals. With the whole picture in view, Michael can then build a solution that fits the operation. For Michael, the best part of agriculture is the relationships built with growers and industry partners, along with the chance to solve problems and bring greater efficiency to each operation.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys hunting and keeping up with his kids and all of their activities.
